The Family Behind RavenWyn Farm
RavenWyn Farm is owned and operated by the Olsen family on their 10-acre homestead in Oregon.
We are in good standing with the American Kennel Club (AKC) and have participated in AKC Conformation for over 15 years. Corina & her daughter Kayla are active members in the Pacific NW Shetland Sheepdog Club, where Corina is currently a board member and has served as past-president. Kayla has held various board positions in the club. Our Shetland Sheep flock is registered with NASSA and the USDA Scrapie program.
RavenWyn Farm is located just 30-minutes East of Clackamas, Oregon and is a short, scenic car ride from Portland, Oregon and Vancouver, Washington. We welcome visitors to our farm by appointment only. Contact us for more information. {Contact Us}
When Did The Passion For Purebred Dogs Start?
It started with Corina’s grandmother Hazel who showed/raised Pomeranians. Like anyone else who grew up watching Lassie movies, Corina wanted a Rough Collie. Unfortunately, her parents wouldn’t allow a large dog so she looked for the next best breed… the Shetland Sheepdog. In 1988 Grandma Hazel purchased Corina’s first Shetland Sheepdog (Sheltie) for her birthday and that is when it all began. Corina would have to wait 30 years to bring her “Lassie” home.
This love for dogs has since become a family passion. Our goal is to not only produce beautiful puppies that conform to AKC standards and to continue our show lines, but to help promote responsible breeding in order to ensure that both the Sheltie & Collie breeds will continue to thrive for generations to come.

RavenWyn Farm is committed to only breeding dogs that meet AKC’s breed standard for quality & health. We strive to improve these wonderful breeds, while maintaining their unique qualities. We take great care with each breeding to ensure we are producing puppies that are excellent representations of the breed. We love what we do and truly want the very best for our puppies and their forever families!
We produce AKC-registered Shetland Sheepdogs (Shelties) and AKC-registered Rough Collies with a focus on health, temperament, and structure. We devote our time, energy, and efforts to each litter to ensure our puppies are properly socialized from the moment they are born and prepared to excel in their forever homes. We are passionate about preserving these breeds. Prospective homes are carefully screened, as we only share our Shelties & Rough Collies with those who will love them as much as we do!
Let’s Not Forget About The Shetland Sheep.
In 2018, we decided to add Shetland Sheep to the farm. We had a need for brush control and decided to go with a heritage breed of sheep rather than goats who tend to escape enclosures. After a lot of research, we felt Shetland Sheep would be the perfect fit to add to our small highland-type landscape. With our animal husbandry experience, we have been able to produce some lovely and easy-to-handle lambs. Please check back often, as we have lambs and adult ewes or rams available each year.
