It’s with heavy hearts that we share an update about Seth. We sadly said our goodbyes to him on January 3, 2022. Seth lived a long life to 15 1/2 years of age, but if we had our ways it was never long enough. He not only stole our hearts, but pieces of our souls. Seth was what sharing your life with a Sheltie should be about and for that we know we were so blessed and are thankful to have had the privilege to share time with him.

Corina’s Notes: Even though Seth was on the topside of the chart, like his grandsire CH Apple Acres Mardi Gras, ROM he typically controlled size in the litters sired by him. Seth had gorgeous movement. He was a little longer in loin, but he moved beautifully. Great angulation. I would have liked him to have more neck. He had more depth of skull than I would prefer, but clean lines and parallel planes. Correct coat texture. He didn’t carry an abundance of coat, but our breed was never intended to have dripping coat. (Hello… not ideal for farm dogs!) Overall, he was a very nice Sheltie. I wish every Sheltie had his stoic, loving and easy-going temperament!
